December 31, 2006 - In like a lamb, out like like a lion... FPM finishes strong in '06! No less then four releases this year, 3 of which are the strongest in our catalog to date. To celebrate, we offer two more cuts for your aural pleasure. First up, from the Dishwater Psychics' disc "Dry Night Riverbed," the new single "Cutting Gears." And from the brand new Upstate EP "Bitter Grin", it's the manic swagger of "Block of Needles." December 15, 2006 - Looks like FPM will be sending off the year with a bang. The new Psychics' release
" Dry Night Riverbed" is out now. To celebrate, we offer a new cut from said disk... the rock opus " Dixie Velvet." Also in post production is the brand new Upstate EP, "Bitter Grin."
3 years in the making, the Upstate swan song is finally realized. We're shooting for a late December release... keep it here for news as it develops.

November 25, 2006 - Hoped you saved room for more goodies, kids. The brand-swankin' new Dishwater Psychics release "Dry Night Riverbed" is now in post production. Limited release should be a matter of days, but to get yer fix check this... the first single from our new slab, the title track "Dry Night Riverbed." Details and more mp3s coming momentarily.

October 31, 2006 - Lots of news this time around, kids. We grabbed a nice review from Godsend Online of our latest comp CD. We're also preparing a new full-length from Dishwater Psychics entitled "Dry Night Riverbed" - look for a late November release. August 31, 2006 - It seems like only yesterday, but 3 years ago today the little page that grew went live for the first time. 36 months later, FPM's internet home has grown into the thriving metropolis that lays before you. And to commemorate, it's another track from the Dishwater Psychics' "If I Ever Disintegrate" release - the rock opus "Jerome, Arizona."

August 7, 2006 - A weekend update; the cool kids in the Dayton area will be at the Broken Lamp Film Fest this weekend, in the heart of Beavercreek. We'll be co-oping a booth with the insurgents from Nobody.sh, makers of (among other fine things) "All the Marbles", the indie mocumentary that goes where no-one else would. The world premier of said indie film will be will take place at said Film Fest this Saturday, the 11th o' August, at 7:00pm. July 07, 2006 - FPM will be on hand for this year's Broken Lamp film fest, peddling our wares and supporting the scene. It'll be August 11-13 at the Bargain Box Office in Beavercreek, Oh. We'll be sharing a booth with our favorite bastard sons - the cats at Nobody. Come out and support the indie-ness...

June 14, 2006 - Anyone out there in internet land that might be interested in some tasty jams should peep this. Upstate trapper Jamie Heaps is in a brand new project called Ohio Pie Factory. They'll be making big waves on the Dayton local music scene 'bout summer time, but for now check out their new site and brand new tune... right here.

March 30, 2006 - Anyone in the Dayton area looking for the cool kids this weekend, check it. The first (hopefully) annual Gem City Comic Con is going down this Sunday, April 2, at the Nutter Center - in beautiful Fairborn Oh. The cats from Nobody.sh will be set up, and showing (among other things) the new art work for the Sir Yes Sir multi-media release slated for later this year. Chris from FPM will also be milling about. Look us up and bring us chocolate milk.

March 26, 2006 - Friendly Psychics Music is proud to announce that its first comp CD is in the pipeline! Slated for summer '06, this disc will collect the best tracks from our dozen or so releases, plus some hidden bonus goodies. Check out the track list here.

March 08, 2006 - Upstate's "Orange at Night" was recently played on Bitjobs for the Masses, a reputable UK-based podcast produced by Phil Coyne. Special thanks to Miami Valley Musicasts's Rich Palmer who filled in for Coyne and championed Upstate and several other worthy bands from Ohio. You rule, Mr. Palmer!
