March 16, 2005 - If you're in the Dayton, Ohio area this weekend and want to experience some tasty jams up close and personal, then check this out. Resident FPM drum-meister Jamie Heaps and his brand new project Cherry will be laying down the live grooves this Friday night at Jags night club in Kettering, Oh. They go on at about 10pm. Come on out... it'll be good times.
March 15, 2005 - It's been a while since our last update, but it's only because we've been busy recording the next Wicked Immigrant full-length, "White Nuns on Red Wine." Expect a clusterfuck of acoustic indie-folk, sprinkles of cello, harmonica and '70s synth guitar, courtesy of several Dayton and Denver FPM faves (Michael Behrenhausen, Dan Miller, etc.) We're shooting for an April or May release with that bad boy, so stay tuned, slackers!
January 01, 2005 - Another 12 in the can & we wish everyone a safe and happy new year. Thanks to the review and radio support we got from everybody this year, and for those that won free booty from our contest - thanks, and it's on the way. 2005 should prove to be a productive 12 months for FPM, with some notable releases on the near horizon. Look for Wicked Immigrant's 2nd full-length, "White Nuns on Red Wine," sometime in the late spring. The Tarantula Dinner Party soundtrack for the indie film "All the Marbles" will hopefully be out by summer, with a 6 song EP, video for the single "Black Suit Radar," and coinciding movie release. A few surprises, more previously unreleased schwag, another contest... stay tuned, for it should be quite good indeed... cheers!
